Richie Pangilinan, widely known as DJ Riddler, began his journey in Chicago, Illinois, and his career has taken him to Houston, Los Angeles, Austin, Miami, New York, and back to Houston, where he continues to make an impact. Billboard Magazine named him one of the Top Ten Selling Artists of All Time on the Dance/Electronic Sales Chart, placing him alongside icons like Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, and Moby for his successful mixed DJ compilations (Billboard, Jan. 10, 2014).
His mix shows have aired in over 15 countries on major stations including SiriusXM, iHeartRadio, Z100 New York, KTU New York, and Hot 95.7 Houston, earning him accolades as Best Radio Mixshow DJ for multiple years between 2010 and 2016 (Promo Only Summer Sessions). In 2016, he was nominated for Best DJ by the Houston Press.
Riddler's radio career spans some of the top stations in the U.S., including WHTZ-New York, WKTU-New York, KRBE-Houston, KKHH-Houston, KROI-Houston, KHFI-Austin, KTFM-San Antonio, and KKRZ-Portland. In 2016, he was appointed Assistant Program Director and Music Director at CBS Radio KKHH Hot 95.7 FM, and later, Program Director for KKHH HD-2 Energy 95.7. In 2017, he became Music Director and Afternoon Drive On-Air Personality for Radio One's KROI 92.1 FM Radio Now-Houston, and in 2018, he won Best Top 40 Assistant Program Director/Music Director. Later that year, he was promoted to Assistant Program Director/Music Director for KROI 92.1 FM Radio Now - Houston and WNOW 100.9 FM Radio Now - Indianapolis.
As a record label executive, Riddler has held roles in promotions, marketing, and A&R at Tommy Boy Records, Capitol Records, MCA/Universal Records, and Ultra Records. He also served as Vice President of Marketing for TakeoutMusic.com, one of the first digital music marketing companies, which went public on NASDAQ (TOMU) in 1998.
As a producer and remixer, Riddler has officially worked on over 100 major-label artist releases, including those for Celine Dion, DNCE, Selena Gomez, and Pitbull. Signed to leading dance music labels such as Ultra Records, MCA/Universal, Strictly Rhythm, and Tommy Boy Records, he has also held club residencies from New York's Webster Hall to Las Vegas’s Hard Rock Hotel Pool and has performed at top festivals globally.
In voiceover, Riddler served as the male voice for KROI-Houston and has lent his voice to numerous commercials.
